Apricot are the are availabe at large scale during summer in hunza. Local people dry them at their roofs.

Diram Fiti(Sweet Wheat Bread)

Diram is a kind of flour made from wheat using a special process.when bread is made with this flour it give natural sweetness.These breads are eat with Kernal oil, Almond oil but mostly local butter is used.

Harisa (Wheat Dish)

Harisa is an ancient traditional dish made by people of Hunza.It is made using wheat.Boiled wheat with boiled meat and local butter at the top looks good and it is very tasty more than it looks.

This is a simple recipe  which guides you how to prepare dried apricot juice.


Ingredients:

 Dried Apricots, fresh water.

Procedure:

 


  • Wash Dry apricot with water
  • Take a fresh water in a Pot(Cooking pot as you wish)
  • Put the washed dry apricot into the pot

Note:   Leave the pot with apricots for 5-6 hours so that the dried apricot became soft and the water color changes(nector comes out)you can also place the pot in refrigerator.

Now serve Dried Apricot Juice and enjoy .

If have digestion problem then you must use this. It is also good for stomach and you will actively work though out the day.
